Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using FolioPDF Pro. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
Governing Guidelines
We provide free, client-side browser utilities. You are responsible for the legality of the files you import and convert.
Liability Disclaimers
Services are provided "as is" without representations. All PDF operations run locally at your own computing risk.
1Acceptable Use Policy
FolioPDF Pro grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use our browser-native PDF utilities. You agree not to use the services to:
- Process documents that infringe upon third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or utilize bots to scrape or disrupt the user interface elements.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, bundle, or re-distribute local source code packages of our utilities without permission.
- Circumvent any visual, behavioral, or performance-limiting bounds implemented on the frontend.
2User Responsibilities
Because our tools process PDF documents entirely within your browser local sandbox, FolioPDF Pro does not receive, view, or retain copies of your documents. Therefore, you bear full and sole responsibility for:
- Backing up original versions of all documents before submitting them to any compression, merging, or cleaning functions.
- Verifying the accuracy and alignment of output files before relying on them for official, legal, academic, or professional applications.
- Ensuring that your local hardware and browser configurations meet the computational performance levels necessary to compile massive document payloads.
3Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform and all utilities are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. FolioPDF Pro explicitly disclaims any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our local tools will be completely error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every custom PDF layout.
4Limitation of Liability
In no event shall FolioPDF Pro, its founders, team members, or content providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business goodwill, hardware crashes, or processing discrepancies arising out of your use of, or inability to use, our document tools.
5Intellectual Property Rights
The user interface designs, logo elements, branding assets, custom style tokens, layout scripts, and compilation configurations are the exclusive property of FolioPDF Pro. All source libraries integrated (such as PDF-Lib, Tesseract.js, or PDF.js) remain the property of their respective developers and are utilized under their corresponding open-source license permissions (Apache 2.0, MIT, etc.).
6Service Availability and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any utility, route, layout element, or features on FolioPDF Pro at any time, without prior notice. We are not responsible for any impact these changes may have on your operations.
