ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility estimates how easily automated recruitment systems can parse your CV. If your PDF has unselectable text or password locks, ATS compatibility will be low.

Can I check a password-protected resume?

Yes. If the resume is locked, you can enter the password to decrypt it in-memory for analysis. However, we recommend removing passwords before applying to jobs.
